Welcome to Project OPA website OPA stands for Online Poker Analyzer, a smart computer program that can calculate the odds at a poker game and analyze every single move in real time online. We created this website to introduce the software to the world and also to invite people to join as beta testers. The academic project began in 2005 when a group of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Alberta , Canada , are researching the connection between poker and mathematics.
